 Jeff Browaty has lived in North Kildonan his entire life. He attended Emerson Elementary School, John Pritchard School and River East Collegiate.
He completed his Pre-Commerce requirements at the University of Winnipeg and earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Manitoba's I.H. Asper School of Business with double majors in Management Information Systems (M.I.S.) and Marketing.
Jeff has held a number of increasingly challenging positions in both the public and private sectors.
As a real estate appraiser, Jeff has a good understanding of property assessment and tax issues - useful skills for a city councillor.
Through his work as a researcher at the University of Manitoba's Transport Institute, Jeff has studied several transportation issues affecting both the City of Winnipeg and the Province of Manitoba.
Jeff has also worked as a Communications Officer at the Manitoba Legislature and as an assistant to a federal Member of Parliament.
